Link to Existing Cases
Related cases can be linked together. Link existing PLL cases to the current case or permit from the Main panel of the summary page.
- From the Main panel,

The Link to Case Number search form opens. This form includes different search options to help you find the case(s) you want to link.
- Enter data into the appropriate fields, and
Any matching cases displays below the search fields.
- Select the check box next to the case(s), and
The object ID, case number, type, and status appear at the bottom of the Main panel on the linked case. The Link Type in the lower-right identifies the linked case as a Parent or Child link type for PLL cases and Related for service requests, work orders, and inspections.
NOTE: Inspections can only be created from or linked to PLL cases in Respond. If an inspection is linked to a case using Respond, that inspection is shown in the list of related work activities on the Main panel.
